This is very, very stupid, but speaks well to how eager we still are to disavow human agency and point frantically at code, algorithms or platforms. One interesting thing about the rhetorical framing of the article is the contrast it seems to establish between the old (Linux) and the new (the cutting-edge chat bot that will finally allow Linux to speak for itself). 

"Wouldn't it be nice to know what Linux really thinks about open source...?"
