Thinking broadly through the idea of algorithms and platforms, I frequently return to my primary object of study, TikTok. I often concern myself with the ways in which censorship operate on platforms, which Srniceck alludes to in Platform Capitalism, and I wanted to share a community-created list of words that are throttled on TikTok, which allows us to draw certain parallels between the ways in which different identifies are moderated on this particular platform:
